Lawrence & Mayo, India’s leading manufacturing and dispensing optician is to organise Free Vision Screening Camps at all their 76stores across India till October 13, 2011.  This is organised with an aim to raise public awareness about the prevention and treatment of loss of vision.  The free eye check-up camps will be held by qualified optometrists.

The idea behind these eye screening camps is to educate people and suggest early treatment to curb vision related impairment. This initiative is not only to render eye care services to the underprivileged but also to increase awareness for need to avail eye health services among the general population as most causes for blindness are preventable.
