Global spending on healthcare to exceed growth of GDPs from 5.5% to 8% in 2012

The healthcare system is in limbo. Major uncertainties lie ahead as the three main factors push for the increase in healthcare spending through 2015. For some economies, healthcare spending is projected to increase up to 20-30% of GDP.

By 2012, the Asia Pacific region will be representing up to 40% of the global market share revenue for healthcare. Seeing the potential growth of the healthcare industry, JFPS Group will be organizing a three day trade show entitled Healthcare World 2012 with the theme “A One Stop Centre for Healthcare and Wellness Industry” on 14-16 June 2012 at Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Healthcare World 2012 will act as a platform for the healthcare and wellness industry as it incorporates Pharmaceutical & Natural Products Showcase 2012, Medical & Wellness Tourism Showcase 2012 and held concurrently with the Healthcare World Forum 2012.

Some of the highlights of Healthcare World 2012 include:

•    Brands and product releases: Experience, witness and get to know the latest releases of innovative products in the Healthcare Industry
•    Expanded trade mart and business showcases
•    Extensive networking opportunities: Buyer program, Pre-scheduled appointments & business matching program, Hosted networking hours
