HIMSS Asia Pacific India chapter announced the new board members for 2013-15. The board members are ; 1. Rajendra Pratap Gupta – Chairman, HIMSS India . 2. Pankaj Vaish – CEO , Religare Technologies Ltd. 3. Shailendra Ravi – Senior Director , EMC 4. Madhubala Radhakrishnan – National Head- mHealth , Tata Teleservices 5. Amit Mishra – Treasurer & Board Member, HIMSS India. 6. Vamsi Chandra Kasivajjala – President – Enlightiks Business Solutions 7. Pankaj Gupta – Director , TAURUS GLOCAL CONSULTING SERVICES PVT. LTD Besides , the two board members inducted in 2012 will continue to serve the board till 2013 Dec. 1.Vishal Gupta , Head- Healthcare & Life Sciences , CISCO& Board Member, HIMSS India. 2.Manick Rajendran, Board member , HIMSS India . Mr.Rajendra Pratap Gupta , current Chairman , board of directors – HIMSS India , conveyed his thanks to the outgoing board and welcomed the new board members . He further added, that since the Government is focused on universal health record (EHR) , telemedicine & PPP’s in the 12th five year plan . HIMSS India will continue to drive the leadership in healthcare IT & proactively engage and work with all the stake holders for enhancing the adoption of IT in healthcare.
