TeamHealth Acquires Emergency Medicine Practice in San Ramon, California

TeamHealth has expanded its California presence through the acquisition of the practice of San Francisco Physicians Internationale, Inc., the physician group that provides services to the emergency department of San Ramon Regional Medical Center in San Ramon, Calif. TeamHealth recently commenced services for this emergency department that cares for approximately 16,000 patients annually.
"For more than 20 years, our physicians have provided quality emergency care for patients at San Ramon Medical Center," said Robert Buehl, MD, president of San Francisco Physicians Internationale. "We are excited about the opportunity to continue increasing our level of service and innovation through our new relationship with TeamHealth." Dr. Buehl will continue to serve in a leadership role with San Francisco Physicians Internationale, Inc.
