The rail medical evacuation is a unique service offered by EM SOS, designed to reach out to the patients who are residing in areas of poor medical facility and are in need of evacuation to nearest centre on medical excellence, keeping in consideration the affordability and budgetary constraints with regards to air evacuation .

The EM SOS medical staffing program provides trained medical professionals to work in locations providing medical backup, upgrading local facilities, and enhancing emergency response systems.

The individuals who are chosen by EM SOS, to be stationed at such sites are recruited from established training centres and universities, and are assessed by EM SOS medical professionals as to their capabilities, experience and expertise. Additional training is then provided by EM SOS so that if an emergency occurs, the response of the site doctor is appropriate and in line with the EM SOS emergency evacuation system.

EM SOS site doctors are familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety reporting and administrative functions of site based medical services.

• Emergency First Aid and Advanced Trauma Life Support for field personnel.
• Primary (general practice) medical care.
• Assistance with medical evacuation support / arrangement of transportation (in conjunction with the EM SOS Response Centre).
• A good interface with local medical facilities for emergencies, diagnostics and specialist referral beyond the scope of the first aid station.
• Supervision and interaction with any other medical personnel at site.
• Development of Emergency Responder Teams on site.

EM SOS provides medical backup which includes provision of doctors, paramedics, medical equipments and ambulances (air/ground) on standby for various movies/daily soaps/reality shows/special events/rally’s/exhibitions/corporate meetings/conferences and other facilities as desired by the customer.

We provide travel medical advise to executives, business personnel/expats/travelers. The individual is imparted with information on recent medical infection outbreaks, existing disease, medical profile of the city and other important logistical information desired by the individual. In case of any medical emergency, we provide 24 hour house visit by doctors and referral transfer to the nearest centre of medical excellence.

EM SOS takes care of the expats and travellers who require repatriations to their native country on a charter/commercial aircraft either on stretcher or as a seated passenger with a Medical Escort. The medical escorts are Intensivists, doctors, ACLS-trained paramedics, ICU nurse or a GP depending on the patient medical need. EM SOS undertakes comprehensive arrangement for the patient, right from the ticketing and visa formalities, for the escort team as well as ground transport at the port of departure. We provide complete solution to these requirements.

Whether in remote office locations or factories situated in areas of poor medical facilities, EM SOS provides medical backup at the location by provision of a doctor and a paramedic with medical equipment and medications to deal with any emergency that may arise at the location in the form of unfortunate accidents or medical emergency. Basic medical care is provided at the site till the victim can be transported to the nearest centre of medical excellence. EM SOS team also coordinates with the onsite doctor for advanced medical help and to transport victims to a better medical facility anywhere within India through Air Ambulances or Ground ambulance which ever mode of transport is best suited for the patient.

• Performing Medical Site surveys including logistics, complete medical information logistics for the area and NCOME(Nearest Center of Medical Excellence).
• Placement of Medical staff including Doctors and paramedical staffs on sites.

• Travel advice and information about the regional medical problems, prevalent diseases and epidemics information and their prevention.

EM SOS also does RMRs to International and domestic destinations in case of the sad demise of the patient, to their respective home town/ country after Embalming and Packaging of the body.
