Swisslog, a leading supplier of automation and software solutions for medication and supply chain management in healthcare, will exhibit Consolidated Service Center solutions at the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (AHRMM) Conference and Exhibition, July 31 to August 3 in San Diego, CA.

“Health systems are driven to develop consolidated service centers by an increased push toward systemness’” explains Kent Roberts, Vice President of Business Development for Swisslog. “By centralizing resources, such as supply management and pharmacy services, our clients realize significant cost savings while improving service to care-delivery sites.”

The company supports Consolidated Service Center management through the broadest portfolio of solutions in the market, including building design, warehouse management software and goods-to-person automation. At the AHRMM conference, attendees will see a demonstration of AutoStore®, the Swisslog technology used to automate the loading, storage and picking of split-case and low-unit-of-measure (LUM) SKUs.

In addition to supply management, more than 2,300 hospitals in the United States leverage the company’s automation solutions, including consolidated pharmacy distribution. Swisslog enables multi-site pharmacy distribution through its enterprise inventory management software, which is built on the same platform as its Warehouse Management System (WMS).

The Swisslog WMS is actively managing the workflows of more than 250 distribution centers worldwide, including complex retail, ecommerce and pharmaceutical supply chains. Unlike other typical WMS suppliers, Swisslog software enables connectivity across health systems, from pharmacy inventory management to complete chain-of-custody.To learn more about the company’s Consolidated Service Center solutions, visit booth 426 at the AHRMM Conference and Exhibition or visit swisslog.com/csc.
