Temple University Hospital (TUH) and the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses & Allied Professionals (PASNAP) have reached tentative 4-year contract agreements for the bargaining units that represent the Hospital’s nurses and technical/professional employees, respectively.

Details related to the terms and conditions of the tentative contracts will not be released until ratification has occurred.  Ratification of the tentative agreements is expected by both the nursing and technical/professional bargaining units tomorrow.

Upon ratification, all striking employees will be invited back to work by TUH management following completion of a re-orientation session.  Re-orientation sessions have been scheduled to start Thursday morning with PASNAP staff expected back to work beginning at 7 pm Friday evening.

"We are pleased that the two parties returned to the bargaining table so that we were able to reach agreements that enable our employees to return to work," said Sandy Gomberg, RN, MSN, Chief Executive Officer of Temple University Hospital.  "We look forward to continuing to provide our patients with uninterrupted quality care."
