CDI, one of the country’s largest physician-led radiology providers, adopts Merge’s solutions nationally

CHICAGO-Merge Healthcare Incorporated, a global corporation dedicated to health IT interoperability solutions, today announced that Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), an outpatient imaging provider with more than 58 diagnostic imaging centers in nine states, has selected Merge Healthcare for its Meaningful use needs.

CDI will leverage Merge RIS™ v7.0 in conjunction with the installed Merge RIS solution to meet the evolving Meaningful Use system certification requirements. “Not only was Merge able to demonstrate a clear path to meet Meaningful Use requirements for radiology, it is also providing the flexibility we need to integrate their solution with our existing technology,” said Steve Fischer, Chief Information Officer, CDI.

The Merge RIS solution offers access to a patient portal, integrated e-prescribing and clinical decision support capabilities, as well as the functionality to capture and report on current and future metrics required to demonstrate Meaningful Use of electronic health records.
