Coventry Health Care, Inc. announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Preferred Health Systems, Inc. (“PHS”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Via Christi Health System, Inc. The transaction is expected to be neutral to earnings for 2010 and financial terms were not disclosed.
