Medicomp Systems announced that Piyanun Yenjit joined the company as Director of Operations for Thailand. Yenjit will work closely with Jason Valore, General Manager-Asia/Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), to maintain systems and expand Medicomp's reach in Thailand.
Prior to joining Medicomp, Yenjit was Chief Information Officer at Paknampo Hospital. Her leadership there was important to the successful implementation of Medicomp’s Quippe Documentation into Paknampo's electronic health record (EHR) system, which took under 15 months and led to their successful HIMSS Analytics EMRAM Stage 6 certification. In addition to recognition by HIMSS Analytics for outstanding leadership, Yenjit will receive an award at HIMSS AsiaPac 16 for her participation in this project.
David Lareau, Chief Executive Officer of Medicomp Systems, said, “Ms. Piyanun knew that the Paknampo EHR system needed to support clinicians at the point of care and reduce patient waiting time in order to achieve HIMSS Stage 6. With her background and proven success implementing the system that achieved the first HIMSS Analytics EMRAM Stage 6 certification in Thailand, we knew that her skills and expertise in health information systems workflow and implementation would be invaluable to our team and clients."
Yenjit also served as Health Information Systems Team Leader and Hospital Supervisor for BNH Hospital. Yenjit holds a B.A. in Nursing.
