Healthcare News / Distribution Rights :- Sunridge International announced today that it has signed an agreement with Ameco Medical Equipment L.L.C. for distribution rights in several Middle Eastern countries.  The five-year contract valued at over 6.5 million dollars will start immediately.

As part of their marketing strategies, Ameco Medical will initiate a short study to involve local key opinion leaders with first hand experience with Pneumatic Trabeculoplasty (PNT), and to facilitate government reimbursement for the procedure within the region.

Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness, affecting over 70 million people worldwide. PNT has been proven (through studies completed over the last 10 yrs) to be a safe, effective, non-invasive and a cost effective alternative for treatment for glaucoma and ocular hypertension. The 2-minute treatment has been developed, patented, and distributed by Sunridge International, wholly owned subsidiary, Ophthalmic International (www.oi-pnt.com).
