BD, a leading medical technology company, announced today that it has sold its vertebral augmentation solutions business, which includes all AVAmax®, AVAflex®, AVAtex® and AVAprep® branded products to Stryker.

This sale will not have a material impact to revenue and earnings for fiscal 2016. Financial and contractual terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
