Vibra Healthcare Announces the Acquisition of Boardman and Warren Hospitals

Hospital & Healthcare Management / Healthcare News / 26th Oct. 2010 :-Vibra Healthcare, a national operator of specialty hospitals announced today that it has executed a definitive agreement for the purchase of Progressive Healthcare’s two Specialty Hospitals located in Boardman and Warren, Ohio. The hospitals will be known as Vibra Hospital of Mahoning Valley and Vibra Hospital of Mahoning Valley – Trumbull Campus.

Long Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACHs) provide specialized acute and medical rehabilitative care to medically complex patients. LTACH patients are critically ill and/or have multi-system failures that require extended acute care treatment after discharge from a traditional acute care hospital, typically from the intensive care unit.
