Oncentra Simulation 2.3 provides DICOM connectivity with increased efficiency and accuracy with electronic simulation. Oncentra Simulation reduces procedure times and eliminates costs associated with film processing, processing and storage.

Oncentra Simulation enables clinicians to easily upgrade existing or outdated systems with the advantages of proven software.  The system employs the latest imaging techniques providing high quality digital imaging, a totally filmless environment with powerful DICOM connectivity fully integrating simulation and verification into the electronic patient record.

Jos Lamers, chief executive officer of Nucletron said, Oncentra Simulation 2.3 enables both new and existing Simulix customers to fully integrate their simulator into a digital radiation therapy workflow, whilst at the same time offering significant improvements in terms of image quality and image processing capabilities.

Oncentra Simulation 2.3 was released on 20 March 2009. Oncentra Simulation in pending regulatory clearance in North America.
