Kremsmünster, February 2021 – The VACUETTE® Virus Stabilization Tube supports the safe transport and storage of samples. VACUETTE® transport line products provide additional security when delivering nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swabs in the virus stabilization tube to the laboratory.
At the beginning of the year, the purpose of the tube was expanded. Previously it was only intended for the transport and storage of samples that were to be used for the detection of Sars-CoV-2, but the detection of Influenza A and Influenza B is now also included.
