Vanderbilt Health and Siemens Healthineers have launched a multiyear, $87 million Value Partnership to facilitate large-scale healthcare technology modernization and standardization across diagnostic imaging and radiation oncology. The agreement establishes a strategic framework for performance innovation, technology planning, and service operations across Vanderbilt Health’s hospitals in the Middle Tennessee region. By streamlining technology acquisition through a single primary vendor, the partnership aims to align clinical strategy with operational goals, ensuring that the health system remains at the forefront of medical imaging and treatment implementation.
Under the terms of the agreement, Siemens Healthineers will serve as the primary provider of advanced technology for a wide range of clinical departments. This includes the provision of hardware and software for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), molecular imaging, and interventional radiology. Additionally, the partnership incorporates Varian radiation oncology systems for Vanderbilt University Hospital, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, and other affiliated sites. This commitment to healthcare technology modernization is intended to strengthen Vanderbilt Health’s patient-centered approach to personalized care delivery and improve health outcomes for diverse communities.

The collaboration extends beyond traditional equipment replacement, as both organizations will explore new opportunities in data infrastructure and AI-enabled technologies.
