IT and Medical company Sectra and SyntheticMR AB, have signed a distribution agreement for SyntheticMR AB’s software-based technology for significantly improved patient flow and analysis of MR examinations.

IT and Medical company Sectra and SyntheticMR AB, have signed a distribution agreement for SyntheticMR AB’s software-based technology for significantly improved patient flow and analysis of MR examinations.

According to the agreement, Sectra will distribute SyntheticMR’s software, SyMRI Suite, as a plug-in in its PACS system (Picture Archiving Communication System).

Torbjörn Kronander, President of Sectra’s medical business said, With SyntheticMR’s software as part of our PACS system, we will significantly increase not only the efficiency of the actual MR examinations, but also the effectiveness of the radiologists, through enhanced possibilities for identifying pathological tissue.

Marcel Warntjes, President of SyntheticMR says, As a result of the distribution agreement, we are deepening the cooperation that we initiated with Sectra nearly a year ago.  For SyntheticMR, the agreement is an important step in our commercialization process.
