The awards were presented on Tuesday, November 18, at the Healthcare IT Summit held in San Diego, Calif.

The awards were presented on Tuesday, November 18, at the Healthcare IT Summit held in San Diego, Calif.
The Summit brought technology providers together with 200 of North America’s top healthcare IT executives. Innovation Awards were voted on solely by the attending IT decision makers who directly influence their customers’ technology buying decisions. After two days of boardroom presentations and one-on-one meetings, the decision-makers vote on the products and services presented at the show.
dbMotion’s presentation at the event focused on implementation of the dbMotion™ Solution at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), a leading integrated health care enterprise consisting of 20 hospitals (more than 4,000 beds), more than 400 outpatient locations, and more than 4,700 affiliated physicians. In production at UPMC since February 2008, the dbMotion platform is currently providing more than 2,000 users with real-time access to integrated medical records compiled from the more than 200 different health information systems used throughout the UPMC enterprise.
