MedAssets today announced that it has renewed a multi-year agreement with Kaiser Permanente, the largest healthcare provider in California, to provide Strategic Sourcing and Spend Analytics solutions. Under the terms of the agreement,
 
MedAssets will continue to serve as the exclusive group purchasing organization for Kaiser Permanente facilities across the country. MedAssets national contract portfolio helps healthcare organizations meet or exceed supply and/or purchased services cost reduction goals by delivering competitive pricing from approximately 1,800 manufacturers and distributors.
