Australia's largest listed health information technology company announced a $2 million contract with Singapore based International SOS – the world’s largest medical assistance company – for a primary care solution at its clinics throughout Asia.

International SOS will install and implement IBA’s innovative suite of clinical and administrative applications delivering healthcare information in a multi practice, multi disciplinary environment initially at a major clinic in Beijing. IBA will undertake a degree of localisation to ensure that the system meets International SOS corporate requirements including interfaces to existing core business systems and with radiology and laboratory systems at selected larger clinics. Upto 2,500 clinical staff will have the potential to access vital patient information in what will become one of IBA’s largest implementations in the corporate primary care market.

Nigel Pool, International SOS CFO, said: “International SOS needed to find a solution that could provide our growing business with a standard solution at both the corporate level and in our increasing number of clinical service delivery points.

Gary Cohen, IBA’s Executive Chairman and CEO, said: This important contract further reinforces our position as the leading provider of multi-practice, multi-discipline medical centre solutions. IBA’s clinic solution is proven to be highly scalable and ideally suited to the growing corporate medical centre market.
