Hospital & Healthcare Management / Healthcare Technology Advancements & Trends :- Edifecs, Inc., a leading provider of healthcare software solutions, announced today that it has been named to the 2010 Technology Fast 500™, Deloitte’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean tech companies in North America.

This is the first year Edifecs has been recognized in the international program, which honors the top 500 private and public companies in the US and Canada according to their revenue growth percentage over the past five years. Edifecs’ revenue grew 258 percent during the period from 2005-2009 and is ranked number 345 on the list.

“We are particularly honored to receive such esteemed recognition, as the list includes both private and public companies throughout the US and Canada,” said Sunny Singh, Edifecs president and CEO. “This serves as a true testament to the viability and strength of our business despite the economic downturn. Such rapid growth can only be achieved by keeping focused on the customer and attracting exceptional talent.”

“Edifecs and the other 2010 Technology Fast 500™ winners forged ahead in a challenging economic environment to realize exceptional growth,” said Phil Asmundson, vice chairman and Deloitte’s US technology, media and telecommunications leader. “Deloitte commends Edifecs for this impressive accomplishment.”

The winning companies were officially announced by Deloitte on October 20, 2010 and all Washington state winners were honored at a local award presentation reception held in Seattle on October 21, 2010.
