dbMotion, a provider of health interoperability and intelligence solutions, has been chosen by UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester, Massachusetts to deliver its interoperability and intelligence system to create a single electronic, interoperable patient record across numerous information technology environments and care areas.

UMass Memorial Health Care is the largest integrated health care system in Central and Western Massachusetts with over 10,000 employees including 1,500 physicians and 2,500 nurses; and is the clinical partner of the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

The dbMotion solution is a proven service oriented architecture platform that enables healthcare organizations and exchanges to meaningfully integrate patient-centered information. This solution can extend the life of working clinical solutions that do not fit into a homogenous IT architecture and can provide a platform for rapid development to solve new clinical problems. dbMotion transforms care through the creation of a virtual patient record that logically connects patient information in existing systems throughout a community.
